The Morning Ritual That Won't Ruin Your Day by 11 AM (No Jitters, No Crash, All Flavor)

Let's have a real talk about mornings. You know that whole "I can't function without my triple-shot, extra-large, sugar-loaded coffee drink" thing? Well, here's a plot twist: your morning doesn't need to be a caffeine emergency or a dessert masquerading as breakfast.

What if I told you there's a way to ease into your day with a drink that's nourishing, tastes incredible, and won't leave you crashing by 11 AM? Welcome to my morning game-changer, a ritual that's become as essential to my day.


My Anti-Chaos Morning Approach

Most mornings go something like this: I roll out of bed, drink some water, and then reach for my hot cup of DAMN DECAF., but I like to add a little twist. I add a little frothed milk, some protein powder, and a hit of chocolate electrolytes to the mix. It’s my go-to way to break the overnight fast, get in a little protein, and kickstart hydration. 

And because I’m not a big breakfast eater first thing in the morning, this gives my stomach time to wake up, too. This morning combo keeps me satisfied and energized for hours without that weird empty-stomach-coffee feeling or the need to hunt for snacks.



The Recipe (Simple AF)


  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice (whole milk or oat milk froth best, IMO)
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder (I’m partial to Ascent or a solid beef protein)
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate electrolytes (Real Salt is my go-to)


 

The Method (AKA The Fun Part)

Throw all your ingredients except the coffee into your mug. Froth it together and then top it off with your favorite roast of DAMN DECAF.
Sip it. Relax. And carry on with your day in the perfect state of mind. Your brain will say "good morning" instead of "WHAT'S HAPPENING AND WHY AM I AWAKE?"

This isn't just a tasty morning drink, it's a strategic move. You're getting quality protein, supporting your hydration with electrolytes, getting the ritual and flavor satisfaction of coffee, and doing it all without sending your nervous system into overdrive.

The base formula works, but the flavor adventure is totally up to you.
